Terms and Conditions — Strativarius Studio

These terms govern your use of strativarius.studio (the “website”), operated by Strativarius Studio (“Strativarius”, “we”, “us”). By using the website you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Client work is governed by the proposal, statement of work or agreement we sign with you, which takes precedence over these terms. Our software products, including Strativarius Suite, Tender Intelligence and our education portal, are governed by their own terms of use or subscription agreements.

Using the website

You may browse, read and share links to the website for your personal or business use. You agree not to:

use the website unlawfully, or in a way that infringes anyone’s rights;
attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its forms or the systems behind them;
bypass or interfere with our security checks, or send automated or bulk submissions;
copy or scrape the website at a scale that burdens it, or reproduce substantial parts of it as your own; or
upload or send anything harmful, misleading or offensive.

Our content

The website’s text, design, images, case studies, essays and software are owned by Strativarius or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. The Strativarius name and marks may not be used without our written permission. Some photographs are licensed from third parties and remain theirs.

You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link back. Any other reproduction needs our permission.

The toolkit

Our design-thinking templates are free to use. You may download, print, copy and adapt them for your own work and your organisation’s, including work you do for clients.

Please do not sell them, redistribute them as a standalone product or remove our attribution. The worked samples are illustrative only; they do not describe real clients or people. The templates are provided as they are, without any guarantee that they will suit your purpose.

The Drawing Board

Essays on The Drawing Board reflect their authors’ views at the time of writing. They are for general interest and are not professional, legal or financial advice.

If you send us a proposal, you confirm that the idea and any work you share are your own and that sharing them does not breach anyone else’s rights. We are under no obligation to publish a proposal, and we may develop ideas of our own that resemble it. If we agree to publish your essay, we will confirm the terms with you in writing first. Normally you keep the copyright and give us a licence to publish, edit for clarity and length with your approval, and promote the piece.

Case studies and results

Our case studies describe past engagements, sometimes anonymised, to show how we work. Every business is different, and past results do not guarantee future outcomes.

Enquiries

Contacting us does not create a client relationship or oblige either of us to work together. We may decline an engagement at our discretion. Anything confidential should be shared only once we have agreed terms.

No warranty

We work to keep the website accurate and available, but it is provided “as is”. We do not promise that it will always be available, free of errors or suited to your purpose, and we may change or withdraw any part of it at any time.

Our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Links to other websites and services are provided for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, terms or practices.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, and forms part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continued use of the website means you accept the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them or from your use of the website is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India, without affecting any mandatory rights you have as a consumer where you live.
