Who we are
Strativarius Studio (“Strativarius”, “we”, “us”) is a strategy, design and technology studio. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through strativarius.studio (the “website”), and through enquiries, downloads and contributions made from it.
Our software products, including Strativarius Suite, Tender Intelligence and our education portal, have their own privacy terms, provided in the product or in your agreement with us. Where a product has no separate privacy terms, this policy applies.

What we collect
We collect only what we need, and most of it comes directly from you.
Enquiries: when you use our contact forms, we collect your name, email address and message, and any company, role or other details you choose to add.
Drawing Board proposals: when you pitch an essay, we collect your name, email address and your proposal.
Emails and calls: if you write to or speak with us, we keep the correspondence and the details you share.
Security checks: our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated abuse. It processes technical signals from your browser and device for that purpose only.
Usage information: with your permission we use Google Analytics, alongside our hosting provider’s own statistics, to understand how the website is used. They record information such as pages viewed, time on page, referring sites, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to do this.
You can download our toolkit without giving us any personal information. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through the website. Please do not send it to us unless we ask for it in the course of an engagement.

Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics places cookies (such as those beginning “_ga”) in your browser so it can tell visits apart and measure how the website is used. We only set these cookies if you accept them in our cookie banner; until then Google Analytics stores nothing in your browser. We use this information in aggregate to improve the website; we do not use it to identify you or to target advertising.
You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page. Declining removes any Analytics cookies already set. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics across websites with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The website will still work if you do.

To review Drawing Board proposals and, with your agreement, to edit and publish your work.
To keep the website and our forms secure and free of spam.
To understand how the website is used, so we can improve it.
To meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Our grounds for using it
We rely on your consent when you submit a form or a proposal, on our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business, on the need to take steps before or under a contract with you, and on legal obligations where they apply. You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

How long we keep it
Enquiries: for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we go on to work together.
Client records: for as long as the engagement lasts and afterwards for as long as the law requires.
Proposals we do not take forward: deleted within 12 months.
Published contributions: for as long as they remain on the website.

Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, for visitors in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR, you may have the right to:
access the personal information we hold about you;
have it corrected or completed;
have it erased, or ask us to stop or limit using it;
withdraw consent you have given;
nominate someone to exercise your rights on your behalf; and
raise a grievance with us, and complain to the relevant data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email teams@strativarius.studio. We will respond within 30 days, and may need to confirm your identity first.

Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, access controls and trusted providers. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will act promptly and notify you where the law requires if a breach affects your information.

Children
The website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it. Our education portal has its own terms, which include how parental consent is handled.

Links to other sites
The website links to other sites, including our products and third-party sources cited in essays. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website, products or the law change. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Where a change is significant, we will say so on this page.
